From beautiful San Diego seascapes to gritty Los Angeles urban landscapes, to moody portrait paintings and figure studies, Victoria Polyak's original artworks invite viewers to share the artist's unique worldview. Primarily a plein air painter, Victoria often sets up her easel along shoreline of her hometown of La Jolla seeking to capture the essence of Southern California landscape. Victoria's appealing compositional arrangements, expressive brushwork, and deep understanding of the principles of color theory and composition have won the artist many awards and placed her artworks in numerous private and corporate collections both in the United States and internationally.
